Jan Schwalbach

Jan Schwalbach is a doctoral researcher at the Cologne Center for Comparative Politics at the University of Cologne. His research interests include legislative politics, parliamentary debates, party behaviour and quantitative text analysis. Together with Christian Rauh, he created the ParlSpeech dataset, which contains parliamentary speeches from nine countries over up to thirty years. In work package 5, Jan primarily supports the creation of the new ParlLawSpeech data set.
