Péter Visnovitz

Péter Visnovitz is a Junior Research Fellow of the poltextLAB at the Centre for Social Sciences in Budapest. In OPTED, he works in Work Package 5 on the coherent representation and dissemination of the collected databases and data sources. He’s involved in project related publications, such as a research note which gives an overview of the accessibility of the available data sources regarding political speeches and legislative documents. He also serves a role in the quality control of the collected information and helps to improve the data collection. He is currently a PhD candidate in political science at Central European University. , his research focuses on the legitimacy of populist regimes, and he is interested in the application of qualitative and quantitative text analysis to study political discourse.
