Work Package 3
WP3 builds an inventory of news sources that provide journalistic political texts and shows ways and methods to retrieve them. The collection of news sources is curated and comes with a broad and inclusive understanding of journalistic political texts. This enables a wide coverage of news sources that ranges from "traditional" journalism to "alternative" sources.
WP3 provides a conceptual description in which journalistic political texts are produced with a distinct cross-country, comparative perspective. It continues outlining common tools and challenges to journalistic text analysis and feeds into the creation of a curated tool database (with WP9).
