For many participants, this was the first and a very welcomed opportunity for personal exchange as OPTED team. The hybrid format of the meeting allowed online participation.

The meeting was hosted by the Vienna team and offered a rich programme with many interactive sessions. After each work package had presented the individual progress of the last twelve months, the discussions focused on the linking of the results within the project and their interconnections with other related projects. Further exchange between the participants took place in a demo session where three work packages presented their prototypes: An inventory for news media sources (WP3), a living hub for multilingual text analysis (WP6), and an infrastructure for text storage (WP7).

We look forward to seeing everybody for the next meeting in February 2022, this time online again!
